God and sinners reconciled
What a wonderful gift. God, our creator, and us, reconciled. Together once again. Even though we were sinners, and even though we continue to sin, we find reconciliation with God through Jesus Christ. Why wouldn’t you want to shout that to all as the angels did.
Hail the heav’n-born Prince of Peace! Hail the Son of Righteousness!
Light and life to all He brings, Ris’n with healing in His wings.
Mild He lays His glory by, Born that man no more may die.
Born to raise the sons of earth, Born to give them second birth.
Hark! The herald angels sing, “Glory to the newborn King!”
Born that man no more may die. No longer are we slaves to sin. Thanks to Jesus, we can have a second birth, and join in with the angels in singing, “Glory to the newborn King!”
